-4x + 8 = -8 solved with algebra tiles?

Not sure I know what 'Algebra Tiles' are ...but:

-4x + 8 = -8

Subtract 8 from both sides

-4x = -16    Divide both sides by -4

x = 4

-4x= -8+8

x= -8=8/4

x= 0/4

-4x + 8 = -8 

FACTORIZATION

-4(x-2) = -8

x-2 = -8/-4

      = 2

x=4
