(5÷3)-(3÷4)

You should first find a common denominator, which is the bottom number of the fraction. In this case it's 12 (since both 3 and 4 will divide 12).

With 12 as the denominator,  (5÷3) becomes (20÷12). (3÷4) becomes (9÷12).

Now that you have fractions wth the samr denominator,  you can subtract the numerators, giving you, 

(20÷12)-(9÷12)=(11÷12)
