5^x+2=9^x

I assume  that  this is

5^(x + 2)  =  9^x         we  can take the log of both sides

log 5 ^(x + 2)  =  log 9^x     and we  can write

(x + 2)  log 5 =  x log  9         

x log 5  + 2 log  5  =  x log 9

2log 5 =  x log 9  - x log 5

2 log 5 = x ( log 9 - log 5)

( 2log 5)  / ( log 9  - log 5)  = x  ≈  5.476
