First I am goingto put brackets around 3c because I think that is what you really want -

I am mindreading I appologise if I get it wrong

(5c-8d/[3c]) - (2c-10d/[3c])

$$\\(5c-\frac{8d}{3c}) - (2c-\frac{10d}{3c})\\\\
=5c-\frac{8d}{3c} -1 (2c-\frac{10d}{3c})\\\\
=5c-\frac{8d}{3c} -2c+\frac{10d}{3c}\\\\
=5c-2c-\frac{8d}{3c} +\frac{10d}{3c}\\\\
=3c+\frac{-8d+10d}{3c}\\\\
=3c+\frac{2d}{3c}\\\\$$
