I assume you might mean this.....(5x^2-3+5) - (3x-4x-7) =

(5x^2 +2) - (-1x -7) =

5x^2 +2 + 1x +7 =

5x^2 +x + 9

im a bit confused about ur ques , is x a multiplication sign or a variable ?
