6e^4x -2=3      add 2 to both sides

6e^4x = 5         divide both sides by 6

e^4x  = 5/6      take the natural log of both sides

ln(e)^4x =ln(5/6)     and by a property of logs, we can write

4x = ln(5/6)          divide both sides by 4

x = ln(5/6) / 4 ≈ -0.0456
