There are 16 sixth graders and 20 seventh graders in the robotics club.For the first project,the club sponsor wants to organize the club members into equal size groups.Each group will have only sixth graders or only seventh graders. How many students will be in each group of each group has the greatest possible number of club members?

Notice that the greatest number that divides both 16 and 20  is 4

 

So.......as Gatsaki has said, each group will have 4 members.....4 groups of sixth graders and 5 groups of seventh graders
