Momentum = Mass * Velocity

 

218 kg m / s   =  35. 2 kg * Velocity       divide both sides by  35.2 kg

 

218 kg m / s

__________ = Velocity  ≈    6.19 m/s

 35.2 kg

thanks but wouldnt you round 6.19 up to 6.2?

You could round it to 6.2 m/s if the question asked to round the answer to the nearest tenth  (or if that is one of your choices for answer).
