A circle of radius 12 units is divided into 8 congruent slices. (How do I solve this?)

Picture a round pizza sliced through the middle creating 8 slices. They would be congruent.

 

a) To find the area of each slice, find the area of the circle and divide this answer by 8.  A  =  pi·r²

 

b) To find the arc length of each slice, find the circumference of the circle and divide this answer by 8.  C  =  2·pi·r.
