If a coin is tossed 10 times, and at least 9 of the tosses are heads, how many different sequences of tosses are possible?

We have  3 possibilities

All  10    were   heads =     only 1 way

9  were heads =  C (10,9)  = 10 ways

8 were heads  = C(10,8)  = 45 ways

So the total  number of possible sequences =   1 + 10  +  45   =   56

cool cool cool
