I couldnt upload the picture, and also I couldnt get the link to the picture, so I couldnt do the latex. Sorry about that. I already tried to use ratios, but to no avail. I need some help, thank you in advance.

I have looked at this question but this sentence does not make any sense.  Not to me anyway.

 

" Points C and D are parallel to AC meets CB extended at E "

 

How can points be parallel to anything ?????
