A container holds a sample of hydrogen gas at 300 K with a pressure of 10 atm. When the temperature decreased to 100 K and the volume remained constant, what was the new pressure?

0.1 atm

0.3 atm

3000 atm

3.3 atm

-Thanks :)

According to Gay-Lussac's Law :

Pressure  / Temp  = Constant

So

10 atm  / 300 K  =  1/30

So

Pressure  / 100K  = 1/30      multiply both sides by  100

Pressure  =  100/30   =  10/3 =  3.3 atm
