a cylinder with the height of 5 inches has the volume of 45 pi square inches. what is the radius?

{The volume has to be in cubic, not square, inches }

So we have

45 pi = pi (5)(r^2)  divide both sides by pi

45 = 5 r^2     divide by 5

9= r^2       take the square root of both sides

3 = r
