A ferris wheel can accomodate 75 people in 25 minutes How many people could ride the ferris wheel in 3 hours What was that rate per hour

We could set tis up as a proportion thusly.....(using 60 minutes = 1 hour)

75people / 25 minutes = x people / 60 minutes      .....  cross-multiply.......

60*75 / 25 =  180 people per hour

And, in three hours, it can accomodate three times as many......so.... 3 x 180   = 540 people
