a. Given is that A=10q^2 and q=0.6R^2. Write A as a function of R.

A = 10 ( 0.6R^2)^2  =   10 ( .36 R^4)  =  3.6R^4

b. If R=0.04S^(2/3), then S=a*R^b. Calculate a and b

Using the first  equation : (R/ 0.04)^(3/2)  = S

Using the second equation

(R/0.04)^(3/2) = a*R^b

(R)^(3/2) / ( 0.04)^(3/2)  =  a * R ^b

R^(3/2) / ( 4/100)^(3/2)  =  a* R^b

R^(3/2)  * (25)^(3/2)  = a * R^b

R^(3/2) *125  =  a* R^b

a = 125      b  = (3/2)

c. Given is that A=p^1.5 + pK^q with p=16 and q=3/4. Write K as a function of A

A = 16^(1.5) + 16* K^(3/4)

A = 16^(3/2) + 16 K^(3/4)

A = 64  + 16 K^(3/4)

A - 64  = 16 K^(3/4)

[A - 64] / 16  = K^(3/4)

 ( [A -64 ] / 16 )^(4/3)  =  K
