How does this answer come to be like this........A laser pulse is 0.15 ns long. Write this time using exponential notation with units of s. The answer came out to be 0.15 ns = 0.15 × 10-9 s = 1.5 × 10-10 s.

A nano is an order of magnitude that is 1 in a billion or 10^-9

The number 0.15 nanoseconds is of course less than a nanosecond (1.0) by one order of magnitude.

Using notation that's just the same as saying 1.5^-10, which is less than 10^-9 by one order of magnitude
