(8,6) and has a slope of 5/4

 

We can write first in point-slope from and then convert to slope-intercept form......we have

 

y - 6  =(5/4)(x - 8)    simplify

 

y - 6 = (5/4)x - 10      add 6 to both sides

 

y = (5/4)x - 4   ......and that's it....!!!!
