A^n= -4(-2)^n-1

Equation: Find "n" Term for -4,8,-16,32....

So since I would minus one from "n", will it be the third product or the fourth one? (Third: -16) (Fourth: 32)

So...

-4(-2)^4-1=

-4(-2)^3

-4(-8)=

32?

Is this how you would solve it?

P.S. Studying finals and having hard time on the easiest ones :3

An   =  -4 (-2) n-1

A1  = -4 (-2) 1-1   = -4 (-2)0   = -4

A2 = -4(-2) 2-1   =  -4 (-2)1  = 8

A3 = -4(-2)3-1  = -4(-2)2  = -4 * 4   = -16

A4  = -4(-2)4-1   = -4(-2)3  =-4 * -8  =  32
