\(C_{feet}=d\pi\)

\(C_{top} =(d+2\cdot\ 6\ feet)\cdot\pi=d\pi+12\ feet\cdot \pi\)

\(C_{top}-C_{feet}=d\pi+12\ feet\cdot \pi-d\pi\)

\(C_{top}-C_{feet}=12\ feet\cdot \pi\)
