If my mass is 50 kg on earth, what is my weight on earth?  Use 9.81 for gravity.  Gravity on the moon is 1/6 of the gravity on earth.  What is my mass on the moom?  What is my weight on the moon?  Bonus: What is the formula for weight?

Mass is the same wherever you are.

Weight is mass*g, so on Earth weight = 50*9.81 = 490.5 N, and on the Moon weight = 490.5/6 = 81.75 N
