Call a side,  S

The perimeter  is 6S

The area  = 6* (1/2)S^2 (√3) /2   = 6*(√3/4) *S^2  = (3√3/2)S^2 

 

So  

 

P^2  / A  =    (6S)^2  / [ (√3/3/2) *S^2 ]   =  

 

  36                        72               24

______   =            ___    =       ___    =  8√3

(3√3) /2                3√3              √3
