A shoes box measures 15in by 7in by 4 1/2in. What is the surface area of the box?

k, 15 in, 7 in, and 4.5 in

15*7=105*2= 210

7*4.5=31.5*2= 63

15*4.5=67.5*2= 135

then, add all the sides:

135+63+210=408

overall, the shoe box's surface area is 408 squared inches

Letting 15 be the length, we have

2(7 x 4.5) + 2* 15 ( 7 + 4.5) =

2(31.5) + 30(11.5)  =

63 + 345
