The median number is the number in the middle of a list when the list has been orgainized from smallest to largest.

In case of an even number of numbers, find the number that is halfway between the middle two numbers.

Another way to say this is to find the mean of the middle two numbers.

The middle two numbers are 35.90 and 45.98.

To find the mean of these two numbers, add them together and divide by 2:  (35.90 + 45.98) / 2

However, this isn't one of the choices ... did you forget to enter the fourth choise?
