1.)   $${\mathtt{120}}{\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\mathtt{30}}\% = {\mathtt{84}}$$        The sale price is $ 84

2.)   100%-30% = 70 % = 0.7

        $${\mathtt{120}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{0.7}} = {\mathtt{84}}$$           Sale price  $ 84
