A survey of 90 students from a high school is conducted. From this sample, it is found that 69 students have sent a text message on their smartphone at least once today, 38 have uploaded at least one "selfie" on their smartphone today, and 22 have done both.

Text Message            Have Not Sent a Text Message          Total

Have Taken a Selfie            22                                                                                    38

Have Not Taken a Selfie

Total                                   69                                                                                      90

Complete the rest of the two-way frequency table above.

Part A: How many students have neither sent a text message nor taken a selfie today? Explain your answer using complete sentences. (2 points)

Part B: What percentage of students in the school (rounded to the nearest whole percent) have sent a text message or have taken a selfie at least once today? Show your work or explain your answer using complete sentences. (2 points) (4 points)

I am assuming from the points shown at the end that this is homework, so I will not give complete answers.

Do subtraction given the values to figure out the rest of the table. For example, the other one in the text message column is 69-22=47. Once you have figured out all of those, you should have the answer to Part A. It is in italics. For part B:

Text Message            Have Not Sent a Text Message          Total

Have Taken a Selfie            22                                            38-22                                38

Have Not Taken a Selfie     47                                            90-38-47                         90-38

Total                                   69                                              90-69                               90

The bold ones are the ones you should add up and then take the percentage of those out of 90 (the total students).
