Slope   =    ( 8200  - 8850)  / (2 - 1)  =  -650

The point  (1, 8850)   is  on the graph

 

So....we  have  the following  equation

 

y  = -650  ( x - 1)  + 8850

 

y   = -650x  +  650  +  8850

 

y =  -650x  +  9500
