8+ (8+1), + (8-1) = 24

8+9+7 = 24

Let x be one side, then x + 2 and x + 4 are the other 2 sides:

x + x + 2 + x + 4=24

3x=18

x=6 the shortest side, 6+2=8 and 6+4=10

So the sides of the triangle are: 6,8,10
