Angle AEC and angle BED are vertical angles....thus they are equal.....so we have....
5x - 20 = x + 52 add 20 to both sides, subtract x from both sides
4x = 72 divide both sides by 4
x = 18
So AEC measures 5(18) - 20 = 70 degrees
And CEB is suppplemental to AEC.....so it measures 180 - 70 = 110 degrees
