i had already solved part of this problem, but i was left with 1= -lxl , and im not sure what to do with the negative
-(-1)=1
The absolute value of 1 is 1
Absolute values have to be positive.
If 1=-|x|
then
|x|=-1
this is impossible - there are no real solutions.
Than, what's the absolute value of -(-1)???
How about -|-1|? Is it the same thing?
-|-1|=-+1=-1
