+3

a + (3a - 2b) - (4a - 3b)

-(4a-3b) Multiply the numbers on the inside by negative 1 and make sure to change the positive or negative signs

a + 3a - 2b - 4a + 3b

then add

(a+3a) + (-2b+3b) -4a

(4a - 4a) + b

b

answer is b

If anyone can check my work on this, please do. I just want to be sure that it was correct.

Luckily it isn't squared or completing the square.
