x^2*y*(xy)^3 <-- I am assuming that is what you meant. ==x^5 * y^4 is the simplified form. First expand the cubed(^3) into the brackets then multiple the x and x together and the y's together as well. When you multiply like terms with exponents you need to add the exponents.
