When you have a problem like :
-3x -4 > 7
-3x +4 > +4
You minus add the opposite to it so plus +4 so that cancels those 4's, then add 4 to the 7.
So thats... Divide by a negitive 3.
-3x > 11
----- ------
-3 -3
When you divide by a negitive number it switches the inequality sign!
so... x < -3.66...
