X intercept....let y = 0

-6x  = 3(0)  - 2

-6x  = -2

x = -2/-6   = 1/3         so the x intercept  = (1/3, 0)

y intercept......let x = 0

-6(0)  = 3y - 2

0  = 3y - 2

2 = 3y

2/3  = y         so the y intercept  = (0, 2/3)
