First, division "undoes" multiplication. Since everything on the right side of this equation is being multiplied, we'll use division to solve for g. Also, whatever operations you do to one side of an equation you must do to the other.
Except for "g," the only things on the right are "0.5" and "t^2." So, we're going to divide by these two terms to get "g" alone.
This looks like this: "s/(0.5*t^2) = (0.5*g*t^2)/(0.5*t^2)"
On the right side, the "0.5"s and "t^2"s cancel, and all you're left with is "g," which is what you were solving for.
So, "s/(0.5*t^2) = g"
