Algebra Homework Help
Hi!
I have a question I need help with, and was wondering if anybody could help me?
An isosceles triangle and a square have the same perimeter.
Find the side lengths of the triangle.
Given: 2x + 1 and 3x as the side lengths of the triangle and 4 as one side length of the square.
Thank you so much, again!
Lily
1) Find the perimeter of the square.
2. Find the perimeter of the triangle in terms of x and put it equal to the perimeter ofthe square.
3. Solve the equation. :)
You have said it is an isosceles triange but you have not said which side length is the repeated one.
I am supposing that you know the answer to that :))
Givewit a go - you can probably do it by yourself now :)
