Let a and b be the solutions to 5x^2 - 11x + 4 = 0.  Find 1/(a + 1/b) + 1/(b + 1/a).

a and b are the roots of that equation.  Use the quadratic formula to find them.

Then simplify what you have to find and then do the substitution.  It falls out well.
