Algebra (x-3)/4+3=8.5 how do i get what x is

(x-3)/4+3=8.5

          -3     -3

(x-3)/4=5.5

4*((x-3)/4)=(5.5)*4

x-3=22

   +3  +3

x=25

first minus 3 from bothside.

second times 4 from bothside

then minus 3 from bothside

now x is alone.
