Simplify the following:
3×4 x x+8×3 (x-2)

3 x×4 x = 3 x^2×4:
3×4 x^2+8×3 (x-2)

3×4 = 12:
12 x^2+8×3 (x-2)

8×3 = 24:
12 x^2+24 (x-2)

24 (x-2) = 24 x-48:
24 x-48+12 x^2

Factor 12 out of 12 x^2+24 x-48:
Answer: |12 (x^2 + 2x - 4)
