4-3(e+2)= -25        What does e equal? I believe e equals 7.6 with the decimal repeating but I'm not sure.

If you have 4-3(e+2)=-25 it would simplify to 4-3e-6=-25, then subtratcting 4 on both sides then adding 6 to both sides. this would equal -3e=-23, then you would divide -23 by -3. This gives you e=7.6 repeating. So you're right.

If 'e' is just a variable like 'x'  or 'y'

4-3(e+2) =  -25

4 - 3e - 6 = -25

-3e-2 = -25

-3e=-23

e = 7 2/3   or 7.666666......    Yep  Y'all got it correct !
