Rearrange as
x^2 + 14x - 16 = 0
Sum of roots = a + b = -14
Product of roots = ab = -16
(2a - 3) ( 4b - 6) =
12ab - 12a - 12b + 18 =
12ab -12 (a + b) + 18 =
12 (-16) - 12 (-14) + 18 =
-192 + 168 + 18 =
