How would I rewrite the equation in slope-intercept form? x-7y=7

I believe that slope intercept form is

y= mx+b correct?

If so, just do some simple algebra:

x-7y=7
-7y=7-x
7y=-7+x
y=x/7-1
y=1/7x-1

I just added the brackets because without them it is not quite right.

You are giving some excellent answers 'someone' Why don't you sign up properly and introduce your self to the forum. You can sign up without the introduction if you are shy.
also, since you are posting heavily it would be good if you read my nightly 'wrap' post. This is the only regular communication between people here. If you want to make a communication post yourself sometime that would be good too. I don't hear other people's voices as much as I would like to.
