Solve for x:
3 (4 s+x)-1 = 3/2 (7-5 s-10 x)

Expand out terms of the left hand side:
-1+12 s+3 x = 3/2 (7-5 s-10 x)

Expand out terms of the right hand side:
-1+12 s+3 x = 21/2-(15 s)/2-15 x

Subtract -1+12 s-15 x from both sides:
18 x = 23/2-(39 s)/2

Divide both sides by 18:
Answer: |
| x = 23/36-(13s)/12

=3(4s+1)-1=6(7-5s-10)/4

=4(12s+3-1)=1(42-30s-60)

=48s+12-4=42-30s-60

=48s+30s=42-60-12+4

=78s=-26

=\(\frac{78s}{78}\)=\(\frac{-26}{78}\)

s=\(\frac{-1}{3}\)

x=23/36 - (13s)/12, substituting the value of s obtained by "guest #2", we get:

x=.6389 - (-41/3)/12

x=.6389 - (-.3611)

x=1
