How does I graph $5.50 and $55.00?

Where does it cross the y-axis?

What's the slope?

Whats the equation?

Since it costs $5.00 to enter and another $0.50 per ticket, a formula could be:

y  =  5 + .5x          where x is the number of tickets purchases and y is the total amount of money.

This doesn't fit with the next line that says that the cost for 5 rides is $25.50 and the cost for 10 rides is $55.00.

If you want to graph the 5 rides for $25.50 and 10 rides from $55.00,

create the two points (5, 25.5) and (10, 55) and graph these two points.
