Let a and b be the solutions to 7x^2 + x - 5 = 6x^2 - 11x - 2. Compute (a - 4) + (b - 4).

\(7x^2 + x - 5 = 6x^2 - 11x - 2\) is equal to:
\(x^2+12x-3\)

\((a - 4) + (b - 4)\)

is \(a+b-8\)

sum of roots: \(\frac{-b}{a}\)

sum: \(\frac{-12}{1}\)= -12

-12 - 8 = -20
