By Vieta's Theorem :

The  sum of  the roots,  a +  b =   5

The product of the  roots, ab =   -11

(a + 3) (b + 3)    =

ab  + 3b + 3a  +  9   =

ab + 3 ( a + b)  +  9   =

-11 + 3(5) +  9   =
