sinx x and cosx   normally have midline = 0     this one is shifted UP 3 units     so it needs a +3 at the end....

     all of these fit that req

 

y intercept at 3    means it is a sin function   which normally has 0  as y-axis intercept...it is shifted up 3

 

3 cycles in 2 pi means the function of x is sped up three times    sin (3x)     (normally cycle is 1 time per 2 pi)

 

sin (3x) + 3

max value of 6 means it has been multiplied by 3    usually max value is 1    multiplied by 3   then equals3    then shifted up 3   = max value 6
