\[\large \frac{a+b}{a}=\frac{a}{b}=x\]

Given a and b are real numbers and x is positive, find x.

I think X=1.

\(\frac{a+b}{a}=x\)

\(\frac{a+b}{a}a=xa\)   (I multiplied both sides by A.)

Simplify and it turns into a+b=xa

A+B-B=XA-B (I subtracted B from both sides)

A=XA-B

A-XA=XA-B-XA (I subtracted XA from both sides)

a-xa=-b

a(1-x)=-b

\(\frac{a\left(1-x\right)}{1-x}=\frac{-b}{1-x};\)

So, x=1. I hope this helps.
