For what positive value of m will the following equation be true if n = 5?
(m + n)^2 + (m - n)^2 + m^2 + n^2 + 51 = 318.
If n would be 5 (\(n=5\)), then would be the onliest possibiity for m that is positive (\(m=8\)).
Note that I already say 25 for \(n^2\)
\((m+n)^2+(m-n)^2+m^2+n^2+51=318\)
\(m^2+10m+25+m^2-10m+25+m^2+25+51=318\)
\(3m^2+126=318\)
\(3m^2=318-126\)
\(3m^2=192\)
\(m^2=64\)
\(m=8\)
