It takes four painters working at the same rate 1.25 work-days to finish a job. If only two painters are available, how many work-days will it take them to finish the job, working at the same rate? Express your answer as a mixed number.

It is an inverse relationship:

[4 painters  x  1.25 days] / 2 painters ==2.50 days to finish the same job. [This makes sense since you only have half the man-power, so it will take them twice as long to finish the sama job]
