a/b = (11/4) /  (-1/6)

Remember, when we divide fractions, we just change to multiplication and "flip" the second fraction...so we have...

11/4 * -6/1 =

11/4 * -6   =

-66/4  =  -33/2

a/b, where a = 11/4 and b = -1/6

(11/4)/(-1/6)

This is the same as dividing 11/4 by -1/6.

So,

11/4*-6

-66/4, or -16 1/2.
